There was a conflict with the preschool graduation scheduled the same day as the Church Chicks Meeting on May 13. . There is no Church Chicks meeting for the month of May.

Preschool graduation needs Cookies for May 13. The following people are bringing cookies--Susie Backes, Lisa Toelle, Pat Nance and Susan Young. That should be enough.

Visitor: Emma Carpenter came to our meeting. She worships at St James and teaches first grade at Tekoppel. Emma is in charge of Family Engagement Events at Tekoppel. She said the next event at Tekoppel that could use our support is Meet the Teacher Night in August. More details to follow. They have appreciated our support in the past.

We talked about having Jan’s Cart at the yard sale, in memory of Jan Smith, who always had her cart at the yard sale. We need a catchy name and a possible sign. The cart will be used to collect food items to donate to the food pantry. Any name ideas???
