United Caring Shelters Monthly Breakfast
Four volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve breakfast Saturday, December 9th at the United Caring Shelters from 8:00 a.m. through 9:30 a.m. Please sign up in the Welcome Center. Contact Lisa M. Toelle at (812) 457-8327 for details.
Memory Mentors Meeting
Sunday, December 10th is the first meeting of our Memory Mentors Group. It will be held in the CFC11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. During the meeting you can receive support, as well as local resources and have a safe space to share your struggles and challenges that accompany loving someone with this disease. If you have any questions or resources that could help this group, please contact Baylee Owens at(812) 598-1544. We look forward to seeing you there!
St. James West Children’s Christmas Program
The St. James West Children’s Department invites you to their Christmas program. Sunday, December 17th, at the 10:30 a.m. service, 0r December 18th during Mondays With God at 7:oo p.m. this will be a very special treat! Please come and enjoy this special time!
Memorial Christmas Tree
We invite everyone to bring an ornament from home in honor of loved one(s) that have passed away. The AMEN Group will provide Remembrance Labels so we know who each ornament represents. For those without ornaments, labels will be used in their place to decorate the tree. Just because our loved ones are gone, doesn’t mean they have been forgotten.
St. James West Church Van
As we look forward to continue serving our congregation and community, the Administrative Board has approved buying a church van. We are asking for donations, to defray the cost. You may make donations by marking “REPLACEMENT VAN” on your check in the collection plate, mailing it to the church office, or submitting it online (select the REPLACEMENT VAN option) .Special thank you to Tony Ricketts who is helping us find a replacement!
